Terms of Service
Welcome to my Terms of Service.
Sending any form of payment to me indicates you've read the relevant section to your purchase and agree to them.
I've tried to keep each section short and to the point.
A general note: I reserve the right to decline a sale, or order, to any one should I feel a reason to.
This is incredibly rare, but I'll inform you of the reasoning should this happen. Thank you for understanding.
Payment & Refunds
🌙 Payment is expected up front for any adopt / design / custom I offer.
🌙 I accept payment in USD via Paypal only.
🌙 No E-Checks please.
🌙 There will be no refunds for premade adopts once they have been sent out. The risk of theft is too high. It's your responsibility as the buyer to be sure that your purchase is within your means.
Adopt Terms
🌙 You, as the buyer, have all rights to the design once purchased. This means that you are free to use the design in commercial projects if you so choose.
🌙 HOWEVER. You are not to use the image I give you specifically for commercial purposes, as it's generally against most base makers rules to do so.
🌙 You are free to change the character however you please. This encompasses everything from appearance, gender, weight, markings, etc.
🌙 I myself do not offer design changes or alterations to any given adopt. What you see is what you're buying unless otherwise stated. Please don't note me asking for edits. Thank you.
🌙 I prefer my adopts to not be used in racist / homophobic / pedophilic pieces, however honestly once somethings out of my hands I can't really enforce that. Therefore once an adopt has left me and has been purchased, anything they are used for is not a reflection of my own opinions, and is not my responsibility.
🌙 If you are buying an adopt as a gift or for a friend, I require you to tell me who it's being purchased for in a note before payment.
🌙 I will not hold on to files for more than 3 days after you have confirmed that you have them saved / I've transferred via TH. It takes up way too much space, and thus after 3 days adopts will be removed from my hard drive. You a responsible for backing up an adopt image somewhere safe after you download them. Thank you for understanding!
Resale of adopts
🌙 You are free to resell any adopt purchased from me for their original price if no additional art has been added. Also, please use common sense with this.
🌙 While I understand emergencies happen, and sometimes things come up - if you’re going to buy an adopt to literally just turn around and try to sell it for a profit (especially multiple times) - Don’t buy from me. I don’t design things just for people to try and make a profit off my work specifically. I could’ve done that myself if I wanted to. Doing so, and being caught will result in immediate blacklist.
Trades
I may accept trades in the form of art or characters for adopts at times. These terms apply to those times.
🌙 Trades must be agreed upon by both parties.
🌙 Once a trade is agreed upon, please complete your side within a 2 week time frame. Should you not be able to meet this time frame, please try and communicate with me, I'll likely grant extensions as long as I'm aware of what's going on.
🌙 Should you agree to a trade and disappear, you'll be blacklisted from trades only .
☾ Adopts that are traded for retain the value that they were marked for sale as. (IE: Adopt is marked for $5, the trade value is worth $5.)
🌙 An adopt will not be sent until your side of the trade is complete.
Freebies
🌙 If you've received a freebie from me, I'd appreciate it if you didn't turn around and sell it with no added value. I could've done that myself.
🌙 However, if you've added value (more art), you're free to sell them at the value of anything added.
